Beauty Advisor Opportunity at Clicks V&A Waterfront

Clicks Group is seeking passionate Beauty Advisors to join the team at its V&A Waterfront store in Cape Town. This permanent role offers market related remuneration and the opportunity to grow in a dynamic retail environment. The position is open to candidates from designated groups in line with Employment Equity principles.

Position Overview

As a Beauty Advisor, you will deliver expert advice on beauty and skincare products, support store operations, and drive sales while building customer loyalty. You will report to the Store Manager and play a key role in ensuring the beauty department operates efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with customers to answer product questions and recommend suitable products and services
• Drive sales through promotion, cross-selling, and up-selling to achieve monthly targets
• Monitor sales performance and provide suggestions to improve product offerings and sales
• Stay updated on beauty trends, promotions, and events to inform customers accurately
• Execute operational activities, including stock management, reducing shrinkage, and maintaining high housekeeping standards
• Ensure visual merchandising, in-store presentation, and promotional standards are consistently met
• Deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being visible, and offering a friendly and professional experience
• Promote the Clicks Clubcard and enroll new members to achieve participation targets
• Increase brand loyalty by promoting private label and exclusive products
• Support Clicks in becoming the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by embodying company values

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate (essential)
• Relevant beauty or skincare qualification (desirable)
• Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing (desirable)

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of beauty and skincare products
• Understanding of retail, merchandising, and promotions
• Knowledge of stock management procedures
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Target driven with strong commercial awareness
• Ability to persuade, influence, and build relationships with customers
