Role Overview
As a Multi Skilled Employee, you will perform various cinema duties depending on operational needs. You may work as a cashier, cinema assistant, waiter or concessions team member. The role involves direct customer interaction, food preparation support and maintaining cinema presentation standards. You will ensure guests receive a smooth and enjoyable cinema experience while supporting overall theatre operations.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service and Sales

• Assist customers at box office and concession areas
• Process ticket and food sales accurately
• Promote products and upsell where possible
• Provide friendly and professional guest service

Cinema Operations Support

• Assist with cinema preparation before and during shifts
• Support multiple functions including cashier, waiter and popper duties
• Maintain knowledge of products and promotions
• Ensure smooth daily operational flow

Food and Beverage Preparation

• Prepare popcorn, slush and other concession items
• Follow quality standards and report any issues
• Ensure food items are stored and handled correctly
• Maintain hygiene and food safety standards

Store Presentation and Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and cinema areas
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional
• Keep displays, posters and signage updated
• Maintain store presentation standards at all times

Compliance and Safety

• Follow health and safety procedures
• Ensure correct uniforms and personal presentation standards

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Matric / Grade 12 is essential

Experience

• 0 to 1 year experience in a similar role preferred

Technical Knowledge
