Job Overview And Responsibilities
• Deliver outstanding customer service and create a positive shopping experience for every customer
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point of sale system
• Assist with ticketing merchandise and verifying received stock against documentation
• Support the movement of stock from the storeroom to the sales floor
• Assist with merchandise displays following store guidelines and management instructions
• Develop strong knowledge of products to recommend suitable items to customers
• Use effective selling techniques to increase sales and meet store targets
• Welcome customers and help them find products that meet their needs
• Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the store
• Help safeguard company assets and follow all loss prevention procedures
• Participate in in store and digital training programmes to improve product knowledge
• Use Power BI tools to better understand store performance and product trends
Requirements And Skills
• Matric certificate
• Between 0 and 1 year of retail experience
• Passion for retail and customer service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Flexible to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Adaptable and able to manage different tasks in a busy environment
• Positive attitude with enthusiasm for working in retail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Love for fashion and confidence in helping customers with styling choices
• Good attention to detail and commitment to following company procedures
