VIRGIN ACTIVE:CRM Data Analyst Opportunities

  • Overall management of MS CRM as a tool to support member retention strategy

Data integrity and hygiene

  • Liaise with business systems to understand and scope the definition of varying data fields
  • Work with IT and business systems to manage discrepancies between MS CRM/CRM platform and member database
  • Identify data hygiene issues and work with IT to address them
  • Use available internal sources to enrich the data

Pre campaign analysis and planning

  • Work with CRM team to plan audience segmentation and testing approach to campaigns
  • Request (from IT/business intelligence) and/or extract (from CRM platform) any data required for campaign planning (e.g. counts, profiling, etc.)
  • Assimilate big data from within the company and segment into marketing lists for campaigns
  • Design and develop relational databases

Campaign execution

  • Set up SQL data queries and campaign marketing lists on MS CRM
  • Manage the transmission of Emails and SMSs via MS CRM or through third party service providers
  • Refresh data extracts as required for recurring/trigger campaigns

Post campaign analysis

  • Establish and track ongoing success metrics for CRM campaigns and initiatives
  • Present post campaign analysis presentations to the business indicating engagement (by segment/campaign test cell) as well as regularly measure business metrics and any specific campaign objectives and calculate ROI

Customer analysis

  • Work with team to define and establish a CRM dashboard to track progress as well as identify campaigning opportunities
  • Work with Insights team/outside vendors to define and create any propensity models

 

Requirements

  • Ability to import, clean, enrich, validate and model big data with the purpose of understanding and drawing conclusions for decision making purposes
  • Solid understanding of data analysis techniques and processes
  • Investigative mindset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Related analytical degree or diploma
  • At least two years experience using MS CRM/similar CRM platform, SQL, advanced Excel
  • At least two years experience working with and analysing big data
  • Experience working in the CRM industry advantageous
