Editorial Intern Vacancy At Ramsay Media

Ramsay Media (Pty) Ltd is SA’s largest independent magazine and digital publishing company responsible for some of the country’s best-performing titles. We are currently looking for an Editorial Intern for our Getaway Magazine.

The successful candidate will be exposed to:

-Generating story ideas daily
-Assist with fact-checking of stories
-Assist with editorial tasks
-Keeping abreast of current affairs
-Manage social media channels when necessary
-Attends events when required

Requirements:

-Tertiary qualification in English and/or journalism
-Proficiency in Photoshop, WordPress CMS and a Mac operating system
-Excellent writing, copy-editing and organisational skills
-Able to work accurately under deadline pressure and willing to work overtime when necessary
-Work experience in the media industry is an advantage
