GLOBAL VISION INTERNATIONAL:IT Systems Administrator Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced IT systems administrator to join our fast-paced office environment at our office in Cape Town (West Lake). The successful candidate for this post will report to the director of sales and will need to be an organized, friendly team-player responsible for the management of the organisation’s IT systems.
Responsibilities:
End user administration and first tier support: installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications on Windows 7, Microsoft office Home and Business, Anti-Virus and Spam Filtering; replacing parts as required.
Desktop management: monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks; setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues; following written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system; working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).
Administration of end user systems and technologies: troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults; Salesforce CRM administration tasks, IT systems account management; timely management of on and off boarding staff.
Maintain LAN environment: POE Cisco switches, ADSL accounts, Fibre optic and Diginet.
Supporting the roll-out of new applications
Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time: responding within agreed time limits to support ticket items.
Testing and evaluating new technology.
Office administration: assistance and support with office management.
Other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements
- South Africa Citizenship or Permanent Residency essential
- Minimum of 18 years old
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Matric or high school diploma
- IT related diploma, MCSE, MCSA, MCP
- Three to five years of related experience
Advantageous
- Passion for international travel
- Volunteer experience at home or abroad
- Experience working closely with a fast-paced sales team
- Experience using Salesforce
Personal Skills/Attributes
Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and/or occasional Saturdays, is also vital as our organisation has several offices across the globe.
