About the position:

We’re looking for a highly talented, digital designer with at least two – four years solid design experience. The candidate must be conceptual, work accurately and have strong attention to detail. You’ll be required to work across a range of projects and employ various design and UX methodologies.

We’re a tight-knit team! You’ll need to fit into our UX design team and be able to execute UX driven design processes. The ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time is essential. The ideal candidate needs to have experience working within a team and must be able to easily insert him-/herself into the design process to deliver high quality, compelling and innovative user experience solutions. Your experience should be evident through your portfolio and CV.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have an exceptional understanding of the fundamental design principles (typography, layout, grid systems, hierarchy, colour, composition). Mastery of traditional design applications (Adobe CS) is required. Two – four+ years of industry experience with visual problem solving is a must.
Supplying a portfolio is required.

Personal Skills/Attributes

Design must be a passion and not just a job. You must have design talent in your blood. A positive mind and a creative brain!

A strong candidate will have a solid background in user-centred design, as well as knowledge of good usability practices. Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills with attention to detail are critical, along with a passion to deliver designs of the utmost quality.
