The YES Youth Opportunity offers young South Africans a chance to enter the job market and gain valuable first work experience. This programme targets youth aged 18 to 28 and provides a 12-month fixed-term contract in a dynamic retail environment at @Home, Carnival City in Brakpan, Gauteng.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following conditions:
• Be between 18 and 28 years old
• Have a minimum of Grade 10; Matric is preferable
• Available for a fixed 12-month contract
• Not have been employed permanently with one employer for more than one continuous year
• Not be enrolled in full-time studies during the contract period (April 2025 to March 2026)
• Not previously registered or participated in the YES programme
• Be responsible for their own accommodation and transport, if applicable
• Preference given to candidates from designated groups according to the Employment Equity Act
