Marketing and Sales Manager Opportunity

Our client, a global travel resource is looking for an individual to act as their Cape Town based marketing and sales manager and assist in starting up and marketing the company, its products and services. The successful applicant should have a good understanding of Marketing and Sales and be willing to learn on the go.

Key performance areas:
• Marketing of the company’s brand through multimedia production such as creating virtual tours, photos and videos for clients
• Social media management
o Managing and posting on the social media profile of the company
o Setting up social media channels for clients
• Creating advertisements and promotions for the company
• Arranging client meetings and selling dedicated profiles to clients
• Sourcing new potential clients and creating client profiles in the backend
• Communicating effectively with suppliers and clients
• All administration tasks such as quotations, invoicing and creditors
• Reporting

Qualifications and experience:
• Grade 12 and tertiary education in Marketing, Sales, Hospitality or Tourism
• Minimum of three years’ previous experience in marketing, sales, hospitality or tourism sectors
• Sound knowledge of social media platforms

Competencies required:
• Fluent in English with additional languages a bonus
• Excellent professional communications skills via telephone, face-to-face and in writing
• Computer literate, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Good administration skills and attention to detail
• Fast learner and willing to invest time in learning new things
• Honest, outgoing and trustworthy individual
• Own Transport and valid driver’s license
