Applications Open for Toyota’s Graduate Training Programme (2-Year Contract) Starting February 2026

Toyota South Africa has opened applications for its highly sought-after Graduate Training Programme, a two-year development contract aimed at grooming the next generation of industry leaders. The programme kicks off on 2 February 2026 and offers placement opportunities at Toyota’s operations in Durban and Johannesburg.

About the Graduate Programme

Participants will experience a well-rounded development journey that combines 70% on-the-job training, 20% classroom learning, and 10% mentorship, ensuring both technical and professional growth.

Who Can Apply

Toyota is looking for final-year students or graduates who meet the following academic qualifications (minimum NQF6 with 360 credits):

  • Engineering: BSc, BTech, or BEng in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Electrical, Electronics, or Civil.
  • Supply Chain: BTech or BCom.
  • Computer Science/Coding: BSc.
  • Marketing: BCom.
  • Economics: BCom.
  • Law: LLB (four-year degree).
  • Management/Communications: BSoc Sci, BCom, or BA.
  • Chartered Accountants: Candidates who have completed articles at one of the Big 4 auditing firms.
  • CIMA: Level 3 CIMA.
  • Accounting/Management Accounting: BCom.
  • Business Administration: BBusSci or BBA.
  • Information Technology: BSc or BTech ND.
  • Human Resources/Industrial Psychology: BTech or BCom.
