About the Role
As a Retail Change Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting system and process changes across stores. The internship focuses on transferring knowledge, fostering effective communication, and providing on-the-ground support to store employees. You will learn to navigate TFG’s retail systems, facilitate training, and assist staff in adapting to new processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn TFG systems, applications, and products to transfer knowledge to store employees.
- Complete prescribed courses on TFG’s learning platform as part of self-directed learning.
- Support change at the individual level and encourage effective communication among store teams.
- Provide on-the-job learning and trouble-shooting assistance.
- Show employees where to find learning materials and escalate any questions or concerns.
- Share critical information affecting stores with store employees and field leadership teams.
- Build strong relationships with staff and leadership to support seamless change adoption.
Qualifications and Experience
- Retail-related degree or diploma (original certificate required).
- Original Matric certificate.
- Unemployed and between the ages of 20 and 27.
- South African citizen.
- Commitment to a 12-month internship programme.
- Willingness to work retail hours and travel between stores as needed.
