AFRICA WEATHER:Consumer Account Manager OPPORTUNITY

The consumer account manager (CAM) will report directly into the general manager of the company for a contract period of three months. The CAM will assume responsibility for the consumer side of the business which requires managing customer relationships across all platforms such as website and applications. The CAM will assume responsibility for all inbound and outbound communications, advertising and profile management.
Management of:
1.1. Customer relationship management across companies various consumer channels. Handle all consumer queries, communication and partner relationships. This includes talking to customers and managing feedback in a timeous fashion. It includes working with IT to address customer issues across the various platforms.
1.2. Content generation across all the mobile applications and Africa Weather blog. This includes generating weather alerts such as forecasts for various events or unusual weather that is expected. Handle all public relations for the company across all markets, company employees and partners.
1.3. Social media presence for the organization needs to built and managed. This includes managing our Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus accounts and creating others as required.
1.4. Advertising: drive the value of our advertising inventory through key partnerships.
1.5. Research and identify consumer insights from existing feedback and competitive benchmarking. This includes monthly generating monthly report to be shared with the team to show our monthly progress.
