Motion Designer/ Maya Animator Opportunity

Neumatic Digital is currently looking for experienced motion graphics designers/animators, highly proficient in both 2D and 3D animation, to work with us on the design and creation of media for several upcoming projects this year.

Strong Maya & After Effects skills are a must, as well as the ability to work closely and collaboratively with a small design team on every step of design, development, and animation. You should be passionate about design and translating branding messages into motion.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to interpret storyboards and add your own flare and creative input to projects
• Will be creating motion graphics in a variety of styles and scope
• Troubleshoot technical and graphic-related issues
• Work closely with the Creative Director and offer creative solutions
• Conform to client-specific design requirements, from conservative to cutting edge
• Estimate and budget time and resources to remain on target for project timelines

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong animation, design and typography skills
• Thorough understanding of dynamics and Maya’s particle system
• Efficient scene building and effects, making the scene as light as possible
• Proficient with Maya, Adobe After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Experience working with video and graphics for digital communications for corporate clients.
• Energy, enthusiasm, initiative and ability to work well in a team even while working remotely
• Well organized and able to handle multiple assignments with varying deadlines

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years’ experience in the advertising industry or in corporate communications
• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Design, Art, Multimedia, IT, Communications, or related field
• Excellent samples and/or reel available for review
