Description
Highbury Media (Pty) Ltd is SA’s largest independent magazine and digital publishing company responsible for some of the country’s best-performing titles. We are currently looking for a design intern for our design department.
The successful candidate will be exposed to:
- Design innovation and visual research
- Image sourcing/creation relevant to brief/story
- Assist in all design tasks, including printing wall presentations, client mock-ups, ordering images, creating PDFs, etc.
- Digital platforms and solutions
- Design and/or assist in all other forms of promotional material for the magazine i.e. mock-ups, rate cards, exhibition stands, supplements, etc.
Requirements
- InDesign
- Photoshop
- Acrobat
- Knowledge of printing
- Technical skills related to design and printing
- Have a tertiary qualification in design
