What the Role Involves

• Registering patients and managing their files
• Assisting with medical forms, including insurance paperwork
• Monitoring clinic equipment, stationery, and medication
• Processing medical aid payments
• Ensuring the reception area maintains high standards of cleanliness and privacy
• Managing incoming calls and providing accurate information
• Relaying messages correctly and confirming contact details with callers
• Assisting walk-in visitors with meetings and deliveries
• Helping patients in emergencies and providing aid with medical aid authorization procedures
• Following up on patient feedback and queries

This position plays a critical role in ensuring that every patient receives quality care from the moment they enter the clinic.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this role, applicants must have:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Clear criminal and credit record (MIE screening)
• Driver’s license and/or reliable transport
• Willingness to work at a dedicated workstation for most of the day
