Job description
Sensational Angling Supplies, a market leader in sport fishing and outdoor equipment, requires the services of a passionate design graduate with fresh views and the ability to deliver great work to join the our marketing team.
This position requires creativity, attention to detail in layout, a passion for design as well as knowledge and understanding of design principles across various mediums. The successful candidate will assist with minor web development, product packaging and product aesthetic design, general advertising with a focus on print media design.
- Advertisement design and layout
- Product cosmetic design
- Product packaging design
- Product photography
- Layout and design of various print media
- Basic website maintenance and updates
Requirements
Graduate designer
A successful candidate must display an understanding of good design principles with an eye for detail. Should be able to generate cohesive well rounded concepts and execute them efficiently. A set of strong people skills and the ability to articulate design choices and effectively communicate them across the team. A willingness to learn about the company, its products and its market.
Core competency
Experience in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator are essential skills. Adobe Creative Suite 4 and later.
Own transport is essential.
Advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure without guidance.
- Willingness to show initiative while complying with strict briefs
- A understating of basic web development and web technologies would be advantages but not required.
- A knowledge or interest in angling would be highly advantageous in understating the market, but, is not required.
- Someone with a good sense of humour, people skills and tons of energy.
