Johnathan Andrews Academy is seeking a professional candidate to fill the makeup and beauty teacher position. The successful candidate should have a diploma and a minimum of two to five years industry experience and would preferably be available to start work immediately. We are in search of a unique individual who will be responsible for the makeup and beauty department at our academy in Edenvale, Greenstone.

The ideal candidate is a trendy professional who can teach and develop the department through skill, responsibility and managerial qualities.

Remuneration and commission:

Remuneration is negotiable. These benefits will be applicable when the three months probation period is completed:

The position entails the following:

ACcademy

• Fulfilling the position as teacher in the makeup and beauty department.
• Lecturing all courses.
• Own responsibility and management of the junior lecturer as well as the students in the department.
• Research and development for the department courses, training programmes, study material for both makeup and beauty.
• Manage internships and collaboration with the students.
• Development of workshops.

Requirements

• A qualification relevant to professional make-up, including special effects and airbrush make-up.
• At least two years experience in professional make-up.
• At least two years teaching experience.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in using Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
