MANCOSA PTY LTD is offering graduate internships with the Alpine Group in Newlands West, KwaZulu-Natal. This one-year contract provides recent graduates with practical, hands-on experience across various departments, including Human Resources, Finance, Stock Control, and Administration. The internship is designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and professional work, offering exposure to operational processes in a building materials company. Available Internship Positions

Interns can join one of the following departments:

  • Human Resources: Assist with employee records, recruitment administration, onboarding, attendance tracking, and general HR support.
  • Finance: Support basic accounting tasks such as data capturing, reconciliations, invoice processing, and creditors/debtors assistance.
  • Stock Control: Help monitor stock, conduct inventory counts, track stock movements, report discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
  • Administration: Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, document management, correspondence, and departmental assistance.

These roles allow graduates to develop core professional competencies while contributing to the smooth operation of the company.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and demonstrate a professional attitude
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • South African citizen or legally eligible to work in South Africa

No prior work experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. Candidates must be able to commit to the full one-year internship period.

  • Contract Type: One year with the possibility of permanent employment thereafter
  • Location: Newlands West, Durban
  • Working Hours: 08:00 to 16:30, in office
  • Remuneration: Monthly stipend of R5000
