HSM is looking for a passionate foodie to join its lifestyle department as a Social Media intern.

The ideal applicants should have:
• A passionate interest in food and decor
• A positive attitude
• A keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• An excellent work ethic, time management and organisational skills
• A firm grasp on the intricacies of the English language
• The ability to manage themselves while juggling multiple tasks and deadlines
• The ability to work independently as well as in a team
• The desire to learn
• Experience in the food industry will be advantageous
• Driver’s licence and car will be advantageous
• Proficient in WordPress

The successful candidate will be required to do the following:
• Manage all social media campaigns
• Brainstorm fresh and original story ideas every month
• Assist senior staff members with research
• Write short, punchy and catchy copy
• Ensure all content produced is engaging, reader-friendly and of a high standard
• Fact-check and self-edit all work
• Constantly improve their editing and writing skills
• Sourcing for and assisting on shoots
