USS GRAPHIC INT[PTY]LTD:Print Estimator – Screen/Litho/Digital Opportunity
The following duties and responsibilities, without being limited thereto, are specifically noted:
a) to accurately estimate prices according to the prescribed formulas and procedures within the estimating program used by the company
b) to fully assess each quote request so as to eliminate all possible mistakes, uncertainties and misunderstandings (apply due diligence)
c) to complete each quote within a 24 hour period wherever possible
d) to update computer data and prices regularly so as to prevent losses on pricing
e) to generate correct and detailed job tickets when quotes become jobs or for any other reason
f) to negotiate the best possible prices for all raw material and out-source services required to complete competitive quotes or jobs
g) be accountable and responsible for all print schemes so as to achieve maximum utilisation of materials, etc. within the capabilities of each printing press and related equipment
h) be accountable and responsible for all your own actions, or lack thereof, within the entire estimating process
