@home Livingspace at Canal Walk, Western Cape, is seeking a Furniture Consultant to join their team on a 40-hour schedule. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving sales and supporting store operations.

Role Purpose and Overview

The Furniture Consultant acts as a brand ambassador, ensuring customers receive expert guidance and tailored solutions. This position combines sales, visual merchandising, and operational responsibilities to maintain high store standards and maximize performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the @home Livingspace brand and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Understand customer needs and provide optimal furniture solutions.
• Monitor sales performance and work to exceed targets.
• Sell a wide range of products and stay updated on trends and technology.
• Identify new business opportunities to grow sales.
• Assist with stock replenishment and visual merchandising to maintain store readiness.
• Execute customer service strategies to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate administrative records related to sales and stock.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Strong passion for people and customer service.
• Target-driven with an experience-focused approach.
• Strong work ethic, initiative, and hands-on attitude.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing store operations effectively.
• Management experience with leadership, strategic sales planning, and business management skills.
• Focused on profit, turnover, and risk management within the store.
