Job description

To support the team by actively implementing our brand, product and acquisition strategies. Assist in warming territories for distribution channels (lead generation and promotions).

Key responsibilities

  • Assists in implementing and maintaining marketing strategies.
  • Responsible for all marketing administration.
  • Sets, agrees and continuously drives own performance objectives in line with departmental/business plans.
  • Drives own development for current position and career plan.
  • Collaborates with own and other teams to achieve all business/individual goals.
  • Plans for and applies change initiatives.
  • Supports wellness initiatives
  • Implements risk mitigating plans
  • Assists with implementing new acquisition plans.
  • Plans for and organises own specialist work to meet deliverables and targets – to standards and plan – with a one to three month focus.
  • Contributes to and lives’ the vision, values and culture of the business.
  • Identifies best practice, improves business processes and procedures.
  • Seeks ways to improve the way own work is done.
  • Minimises own wastage and costs in department.
  • Conducts specialist analysis and provide advise/opinions/recommendations in line with process and procedures.
  • Explores and develops new solutions to benefit the department/business.
  • Preempts potential obstacles to or deviations from plan to timeously design evasive/corrective action to ensure objectives.
  • Knows and supports the company’s CSR initiatives.
  • Knows and actively contributes to the company’s green footprint initiatives.
  • Optimises resources to drive a carbon neutral environment.
  • Delivers a great experience at every customer interaction (internal/external).
  • Knows and meets/exceed customer service standards and expectations.
  • Acts as an ambassador for the company and live the brand values.
  • Builds relationships with SBU.
  • Interacts on transactional level as per customer KPA.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience:

  • Matric/GRD 12 Plus
  • B Comm/Marketing Degree (preferential) or a Diploma in Marketing.
  • Three years’ experience in a marketing/product management environment.
  • Financial product experience advantageous.
