MR PRICE:Senior Retoucher OPPORTUNITY
MRP Apparel are seeking a full-time high end photo retoucher to join the marketing team, which will serve the photo needs for MRP Apparel. The overall purpose of this position will be dedicated to digital photo retouching, storage of product shots and the uploading of photos to our marketing and e-commerce team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing and organising photo assets, dealing directly with the photographers.
- Retouching high quality images for print and cross-functional use.
- Performing a variety of highly skilled creative and executional retouching assignments.
- With limited guidance, prioritises and executes responsibilities efficiently; checks own work and possibly the work of others; output must meet the highest quality standards. Maintain workflow systems.
- Create files for both RGB and CMYK workflows.
- Independently prioritising requests from multiple sources.
- Provides technical/process guidance to co-workers within own work group.
- Ensuring all tasks are delivered on time with excellent quality, quantity and consistency.
Key requirements:
- At least four years of digital photo retouching experience preferably working within a production department within an advertising agency.
- Experience in e-commerce image editing for fashion, beauty and accessories.
- Having the understanding and experience of Studio photography will be advantageous.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Photoshop CC.
- Strong knowledge of colour profiles and colour matching is essential.
- Experience using a Wacom tablet preferable.
- Expert colour correction experience.
- Able to follow seasonal updates and take clear creative direction
