Head of Operations Opportunity

Our client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of aircraft parts and components. The organisation produces parts for cutting edge aircraft and their components feature somewhere in more than half of the new aircraft flying. With lots of new customer programmes coming through, the current incumbent in the group has been promoted and they now require a new Head of Operations to run two sites.

The Head of Operations will have complete autonomy and responsibility for a highly productive, dynamic and non-matrix environment, leading everything from Manufacturing to Facilities as well as being accountable for Health & Safety and all lean processes across the business.

The role will suit an experienced Head of Operations who is seasoned in leading a multi-site complex manufacturing business or a Head of Manufacturing who wants to take a step up. As our client is keen to put in a strong succession plan, it will also suit someone who is keen to progress further into a broader role. Experience of the aerospace sector would be ideal but we will also look at candidates from large complex manufacturing businesses who have been used to driving an environment with very high standards.
