OneCart (Pty) Ltd is hiring Personal Shoppers for its Clearwater Mall branch in Roodepoort, Gauteng. The retail company has announced a six-month fixed-term contract position within its Operations Department, effective from 1 September 2025.

Role Overview

The Personal Shopper role focuses on customer service and order fulfillment. Successful candidates will serve as in-store concierge shoppers, providing guidance on product choices, preparing customer orders, and addressing queries. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to take initiative.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making purchase decisions through product advice and guidance.
• Fulfill placed orders and manage in-person payments when necessary.
• Handle customer requests and complaints promptly.
• Suggest alternative products for out-of-stock or discontinued items.
• Report shortages, inferior goods, or customer issues to management.
• Follow customer instructions carefully and ensure order accuracy.
• Select, scan, and pack products efficiently.
• Support order collection, packaging, loading, and payment processes.
• Stay updated on stock levels and product availability.
• Collaborate with other store departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and service requirements.
• Follow reasonable instructions from supervisors and contribute to team goals.
• Represent company values in all interactions.

Job Requirements

• Matric certificate.
• Residency in or near Roodepoort, Gauteng.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to type in full sentences.
