Job Overview

The Counter Sales Specialist will manage sales interactions at the branch, maintain stock levels, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in driving sales, supporting administrative duties, and promoting the Adendorff brand through exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain proper stock control and ensure the branch is well-stocked.
• Handle administrative and managerial tasks related to branch operations.
• Generate sales to achieve strategic growth goals.
• Deliver high-quality customer care according to company standards.
• Supervise staff and ensure adherence to branch procedures.
• Maximise sales through leadership and effective customer engagement.
• Promote a positive company image through excellent service.
• Maintain general housekeeping and organisation within the branch.
• Develop product knowledge and participate in self-development initiatives.

Skills and Experience Required

• Previous exposure in automotive, engineering, tools, machinery, or hardware retail.
• Technical knowledge in DIY or hardware products is advantageous.
• Confidence, honesty, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience in staff supervision and retail branch procedures.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Senior Certificate.
• Own vehicle is essential.
• Willingness to work Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 and Saturdays 08:00 – 13:00.
• Salary is negotiable with benefits available.
