Job Overview
The Graduate Financial Assessor will serve as the first point of contact for clients seeking financial assistance through Confluent’s services. The role involves contacting potential clients, gathering financial information, conducting an initial assessment of their financial situation and explaining available solutions. You will work closely with the Financial Consulting team by referring eligible clients for further assistance while ensuring every interaction is handled professionally and with empathy. This position offers structured training, career development opportunities and exposure to the financial consulting industry within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Contact clients who have requested financial assistance.
• Gather accurate information about clients’ financial situations.
• Conduct initial financial assessments.
• Make outbound calls to prospective clients.
• Manage customer engagements across various communication platforms.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage client expectations.
• Educate clients about available financial solutions.
• Refer eligible clients to the Financial Consulting team.
• Maintain accurate client records using company systems.
• Build positive relationships with clients throughout the onboarding process.
• Follow company procedures and compliance standards.
• Support the achievement of team and organisational goals.
Requirements and Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or a related financial field.
• Computer literacy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Afrikaans language proficiency will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Active listening and interpersonal communication skills.
