PRIME TIME:Account Executive – Direct Opportunity

- Develop and implement focused business plans and strategies
- Ensure regular sales calls to various clients
- Ensure constant evaluation of campaign needs and provide feedback
- Accurately present to clients in accordance with the client brief
- Follow-up on calls and emails timeously
- Meeting monthly sales targets, quarterly and annual
- Create awareness of new products
- Successfully procure new business and close sales
- Achieve the set amount of client calls
- Achieve the specified target for new client applications
- Develop methods to procure new clients
- End client meetings with requests for referrals
- Effectively manage the client relationship via a plan CRM strategy
- Effectively ensure interdepartmental communication in respect of each on- air campaign.
- Ensure the campaign is effectively and accurately implemented
- Constantly ensure that the billings and figures are correct
- Attending meetings regularly as planned
- Constantly researching and drafting accurate proposals
- Continuously updating the client database
- Continuously renewing existing client campaigns and retention of present clients
- Regular pre-call and post-call planning and research
- Constantly retaining 75 % of clients annually
- Ensure that contact reports are completed and submitted to client
- Completing yearly plan for each existing client timeously
- Constant awareness of clients’ business activities
- Communicating new product to clients
- Create and implement effective strategies for clients
- Assist with collecting outstanding payments
- Ensure that client information is relevant and updated (birthdays, contact details)

Requirements
Matric. Tertiary qualification an advantage
Three+ years media sales experience
Understanding of and passion for media industry.
Understanding of radio an advantage.
Computer literacy (MS-Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Explorer).
Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills and presentation skills
A valid driver’s licence and own transport is essential
Willingness to travel and work overtime/attend industry functions as and when required
