Description
We are looking for a Cape Town (Southern Suburbs) based, super bright, full-time intern who is tech-savvy, interested in pursuing a career in digital marketing and is fascinated by what it takes to build highly engaged tribes online.
Your role will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Assisting with team, office and client administration
- Updating website content
- Researching and creating content for our websites
- Planning and building marketing funnels
- Planning and executing social media plans
- Dealing with customer service tickets
- Sourcing data and updating reports
The ideal candidate must:
- be curious
- know how to google
- be willing to learn
- be teachable
- be a problem solver
- not be afraid of failure
- know how to have fun!
and a love of running and coffee is preferable…
One or a combination of the following skills are not essential but will be an added advantage:
- Digital Marketing
- WordPress
- Email Marketing
- Copywriting
- Video/Audio Editing
- Digital Design
- Community Management
- PPC Advertising
- Social Media Management
- SEO
Important notes:
Although this is an internship, we would love to turn it into a full-time Assistant Digital Marketer position at the end of the contract term if the candidate proves to be a good match.
We are a very small team working from a home-based office in Plumstead. If you don’t like children and dogs, coffee and running, and if you are more of a corporate animal, please do not apply.
A large part of this internship will consist of doing online courses and certifications. If you’re not keen to study further and improving your skills then this is not the position for you.
