Overview:

To be a part of and assist the Support/Dispatch team that serves as a point of contact for all customer and branches whereby our primary responsibility is to assist with customer complaints and initiate the appropriate response or action to any problem

Dispatch job description includes (but is not limited to):

  • Able to assist in executing the promotions strategy to increase and maximise sales within the branch with attention to detail
  • Proven sales track record – boosting productivity, etc.
  • Ensuring that it is consistent and world-class performance, customer service (including dealing with complaints) and operating standards
  • Responsible for the administrative functions on shift, ensuring compliance on all levels
  • Ensuring compliance with policy and procedures of the Company
  • Ensuring branch compliance with FICA legislation
  • Ensure branch compliance with the KZN Gambling Act, regulations and rules
  • HR management, including ensuring all related administration is in place when disciplining staff

Support description includes (but is not limited to):

  • Resolving and responding to customers complaints in a professional manner on various social platforms (via phone, email and social media) within the required time limits – follow up to ensure resolution
  • Resolve service problems by assessing and identifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Expediting correction or adjustment and following up to ensure resolution
  • Activating customer accounts
  • Assisting Branch Managers and customers telephonically with queries/complaints
  • Maintain customer adjustments for deposits and withdrawals
  • Compiling basic admin reports by collecting and analysing customer information
  • Recommend potential products or services to Management based on the above reports
  • Contribute to the team’s effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Go the extra mile to engage customers
  • Inform customer of deals and promotions
  • Work with Customer Service Manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered

Requirements

Dispatch skills required includes (but is not limited to):

  • PC experience (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Must be able to create documents, spreadsheets, and strong knowledge of specific programs. Working knowledge of Excel and routing or dispatching systems a plus
  • Basic IT skills
  • Able to remain calm in busy and occasionally difficult situations
  • Able to multi-task to ensure all duties are completed by shift end
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Able to give good customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Social media skills are a plus (Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)

Support skills required includes (but is not limited to):

  • Social media experience
  • Knowledge of Playa’s policies and procedures
  • PC experience (Outlook and Excel)
  • Able to remain calm in busy and occasionally difficult situations
  • Able to multi-task to ensure all duties are completed by shift end
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Able to give world class customer care service to all clients
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls
